My Belief

Healthy eating, to me, should feel joyful, nourishing, and realistic for everyday Kiwi families, starting from those very first bites. I have seen, both as a mother and as a chef in early childhood settings, how food is never just about filling little tummies. It is about shaping habits, confidence, and building lifelong healthy relationship with food. In many ways, we are feeding futures.

My approach is rooted in the Mediterranean lifestyle and inspired by Italy’s food culture, where meals are colourful, balanced, and meant to be enjoyed together. I am drawn to the principles of the Rainbow Diet, introducing little ones to a wide variety of vibrant, nutrient-dense foods that support growth, development, and long-term wellbeing.

Here, healthy food it’s joyful, simple, and built to support families one brave bite at a time!

I also care deeply about the first 1,000 days, that sensitive window from conception to toddlerhood that lays the foundations for lifelong health. That is why I focus on age-appropriate nutrition that evolves as children grow, taking inspiration from traditional Italian omogeneizzati.

Whether your family follows traditional weaning, baby-led weaning, or something in between,
I believe food should adapt to real life. There is no one “right” way, just thoughtful choices, curiosity, and flexibility.
